Resources for Students

If you want to learn more about Chicago history, a great place to start is the Encyclopedia of Chicago, which is available at bookstores, libraries, and free online.

You might also want to check out the Chicago History Museum at the corner of Clark Street and North Avenue, on the near north side of Chicago.

Older students might want to consider participating in the Chicago History Fair.
